No affiliation but looks like a really nice car. No Hardtop. JM1NA3511M1223993

20k mile BRG w/ HT maxed on eBay at $10k. $8k w/ twice the miles and no hardtop.

What do we think?

Chris.

This rare British racing green Miata Special Edition with only 41,418 miles is in excellent condition throughout and becoming a classic! It has no rust, dings or scratches and obviously been well maintained and cared for. It is equipped with: tan leather interior, limited slip differential, tan top, boot cover, tonneau cover, car cover, BBS alloy wheels, five speed transmission, cruise, air, stereo FM / CD, power windows and steering. Powered by a 1.6 liter 16 valve dual overhead cam 4 cylinder engine, this lightweight roadster is quick, economical, fun to drive and one of the best shifting / handling sports cars on the road today!

Deal with the owner and eliminate the hassles! Call Doug Hagge at 614-582-7860 to schedule an appointment or for any additional information including a free vehicle history report.

I think it's priced fairly. It looks very clean. The BBS and tan top don't really detract too much if (?) any from value.

With a little negotiating I think $7000 would be a nice buy for someone if it's as clean as it looks.

I didn't even catch the tan top. Goes to show you what I know about the BRGs. Actually looks good with the tan.

Maybe it is just me, but it seems to be sitting very high, and either the nose was repainted or the previous owner removed the MAZDA logo sticker that should be on the drivers side front bumper.

I was just about to start a thread about this one, as well. I think it looks like a great deal (pending a drive and an independent inspection, of course). Personally, I prefer the black soft top. The tan might detract a little bit from the purist perspective, although many people do prefer the look of the tan top anyway. Same goes for the wheels. They are not the original daisies, but the BBS wheels are the superior choice in terms of overall look (in my opinion) and weight.

This car was for sale by the same dealer several months ago. Then, it disappeared and now it is back. Not sure what the deal is with that.

But, given the high BRG prices on BaT as of late, this one definitely deserves to be checked out.

I have an offer in on a Maritime Blue ('90), and if it falls through, with this still available, I'll be making the drive.

I always thought the tan top looked the best on the BRG'S and the BBS wheels just look great and add value I think it's a fair price

I'm on board with greenmonster's opinion about the tan top and BBS wheels. The original owner of my BRG #7 had an excellent tan top fitted, and I stored the daisies and put on a BBS set purchased from our buddy KeeperNC. When its hardtop is off, it's a twin to the Ohio BRG that inspired this thread. Sounds like the Ohio car is a nice example - hope it ends up with a forum participant.

I think that is a car that I installed some aftermarket items such as airhorn and CB radio. It used to be part of the Ridgerunner Miata Club in Western NC. Their names were Moone. They paid much more for it.

Hi, jjharrell. I reckon your comment applies to the Ohio car about which this thread was started and not to my car, referenced in the post just before yours. Although my #7 also lived in western NC when I bought it, its owner had a different name and it does not have the CB and air horn you mention. Just to clarify the identities of the two BRG's. Hope to meet you sometime in the Blue Ridge.

Yes, the Ohio car.

This fellow is a dealer sort of specializing in Miatas and usually has a few of various vintages around, some fairly clean, some average. I have not looked at this particular car, but if someone is serious about it, I could look it over............I am not affiliated with him in any way.

I was told the car was sold on the 25th.

I proceeded to buy something else in the meantime, and will be hoping to find something similar come fall.
